also, Happy Birthday Mac (i guess…)

Product List:

  1. TWO 2x4x8(?) wood frame = about $5 for both
I got them cut in the home depot store at 2.5 feet for three pieces each wth a little block left over.
  2. Wooster 2.5 inch brush = About $13 dollars
This can be any brush that can handle semi-smooth surfaces. doesn’t have to be branded and can be priced cheaper!
  3. BUHR Creamy White Interior Paint Quarter Gallon = About $11;
This is also preference and can be any paint brand/color.
I found that a quarter gallon is the MORE than enough for this project and should be used in other projects. i have a lot of left over paint :[
There is a smaller size (sample size which is 8oz) and that costs about $8’s so the PPU is significantly more expensive.
  4. Generic Plastic Paint Tray = About $1-2
Really just depends on what you want
  5. Newspaper = About $1.50
I believe you can get free newspapers from the library or it can be substituted for any material to save yourself from making a mess.

Total should be around $32 (not including tax but everything was rounded up) and takes about 2-3 hours depending on the weather.

Step One: set up news papers or covering so you dont spill paint anywhere. Make sure you cover all the important things just incase…

Step Two: Pour your paint into a plastic tray and have your brush ready

Step Three: DIP AND PAINT! paint in long sweeps along the grain
( i dont know how to get smooth finishes but i heard you can do it with brushes which i think is a lie.)

Step Four: Let the layer of paint dry.
(you shouldnt let this happen.. just sayin)

Step Five: Repeat steps three & four until you reached desired level of paint

And finally, you have your finished product with minimal mess!!
You now have a beautiful table top to take amazing photos!!
