Float! in Pasadena. a #vsco post
Ive been neglecting my blog for the past month and i havent really shot anything other than my assignments for school. honestly right now, more than ever, i just really want to know what i am going to do with my life in the future… maybe ill keep it up with photography.. or just go into something else.
im thinking about trying to go more documentary style than just portraiture so maybe look forward to more fewd and places and stuff… but we’ll see
anyways these photos are from about a month ago when i had to shoot 3 rolls of different iso.
im so tired of black & white.
jeez these rolls are old….
anwyays palm trees as starting images 4dayz~ i swaer there will be no more palm trees for a while
IS THAT COLOR FILM?!?!?!
shooting at Studio City… it was cold..
but anyways it was a lot of fun and a good night overall
(maybe more color next week??? we’ll see..)
my grey values seem to be off :\ i dont understand..
4×5′s that i scanned at the wrong dpi ~_~
people included in this post are jack strutz, lehrick leung and gary chyan
so.. my 2nd term has had 1 theme to it.. and its black & white film. we can only shoot black and white for our assignments and the other classes that dont use b/w film.. we dont shoot ~_~
so maybe towards the end of the term.. ill shoot some color negative/positive film :p but for now im shooting black and white ;3
im back ? maybe? but this is my first legitimate update for the start of the new term. i apologize for my lack of updates.. i really think the 52weeks and school drained me but its been a good month since i havent dont anything so here we go.
first of all i do want to say that i have a lot of photos shot but they are on film so it’ll be a while before i can scan since our schools $25k scanners are always being used… but i will try my best. but for right now.. all i can do is post photos of nature shot on medium format. hp5@400iso on rz67.
look forward to the coming weeks and dont stop believing in this nobody.
just trying to get 2013 organized a little bit so please for everybody who follows me, i will update soon!!
2013 is an exciting year but its just been really busy for a while so please be patient <3
I met Hiroko while we were both working at Kellogg West (the hotel at Cal Poly Pomona) and I remember when these two became “facebook official” and now it’s four years later and they’re engaged!!! An extremely cute couple and genuinely great people.. I wanted to create an innocence and sincere story for these two to remember… Assisted by @asimplefarmer & Instax Polaroids, We shot based on the idea of travelling. The photos are kind of a literal interpretation but i think we nailed it… These two braved the cold weathers of california and were super hospitable (get the reference?? because we are hospitality majors :3 ) while we were shooting!! Everything was perfect especially the light & scenery!! Ahhhh I dont know what to say hahaha…. I really had a lot of fun and it was exciting to edit these photos…
I wish for only the best for these two..
